More on Gas Prices

Gas prices are still rising pretty quick and I thought I'd point out AAA's website which tracks prices both nationally and on a state by state basis. The national average for regular unleaded today was $2.048 -- just shy of the May 2004 all time record of $2.054. I expect that tomorrow we'll surpass the old record.
For a state by state look at gas prices check here. I mentioned Sunday that Colorado gas prices hit an all time high of $2.04 last Friday. Four days later prices here in Colorado are averaging $2.087. We're breaking records every day now in Colorado. I imagine it's not too different all across the country.
